We
encourage campers to make advance reservations and especially if you are
planning to stay on either a Friday or Saturday night or during a
holiday period. Anyone seeking either a cabin or large, pull-thru RV
site is also encouraged to make advance reservations regardless of
arrival date.
RESERVATIONS: We try to make reserving a site or
cabin as easy as possible. You can contact us directly either on our
toll free number (800-823-2267) or at (423) 821-9403 and ask for the
camp office. Reservations can also be made on line by clicking on the
following link:

GUARANTEED RESERVATIONS & DEPOSITS: Camp
Sites: We require that all reservations for holiday periods or
Friday and Saturday nights be guaranteed. The guarantee can be either in
the form of a check for one night’s stay plus tax or a credit card
number can be provided. It is our policy not to charge your card in
advance (except for cabins) but we will do so in the event that you
either do not show or fail to cancel as outlined below. Cabins:
We require that all cabin reservations be guaranteed with a credit
card. At the time your reservation is made, your card will be charged
for one night’s stay plus tax. This amount will be held as a deposit
pending your arrival. Please note that your reservation will
automatically be canceled in the event that your card is declined. We
will attempt to contact you if this should happen so that alternative
payment can be arranged.
Special Note for Credit / Debit Card Users: Since
we do not charge a deposit to your card (except for cabins) prior to
arrival, we assume that the credit card number being provided is valid
and that sufficient funds are available to charge one night’s stay plus
tax in the event that you either fail to show or fail to cancel before
12:00 noon (Eastern) two day’s prior to your arrival date. A $27.00
payment decline fee shall be imposed if, when we attempt to run your
card, it is either declined or is listed as a bad account number. You
will be mailed an invoice for the outstanding balance and, after thirty
days, the account will be turned over for collection.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Because we are a small
campground, last minute cancellations greatly impact us. Consequently,
we have developed a strict cancellation policy which provides for a two
day advance notice in order to cancel a reservation without incurring a
charge (see cabin exception below). (For example, if you are due to
arrive on a Friday, then you must call and cancel by 12:00 noon on
Wednesday). For campsites, all cancellations (including family
emergencies, illness, etc.) made within two days of your arrival date
will result in your card being charged for one night stay plus tax
unless a minimum stay rule applies. We do not permit “postponing” of
reservations within the two day cancellation policy. When calling to
cancel, please make sure to obtain a cancellation number. Special
Note for Cabins: Guests who have had their credit card charged for
one night’s stay plus tax are entitled to receive a refund of the
deposit amount less a $5.00 administrative fee if they call and cancel
their reservation before 12:00 noon, seven (7) day’s prior to the
scheduled arrival date. Reservations canceled after this time will
result in the entire deposit being forfeited. A seven (7) day
cancellation policy applies for cabin reservations. This means that you
must call and cancel your reservation by 12:00 noon, seven (7) days
prior to your arrival date. We are sorry, but we do not accept either
reservations or cancellations via e-mail.
NOTE: The reservation and cancellation policies
listed above apply only to reservations made directly with the camp
office. On-line reservations are handled by a third party and are
subject to the terms and conditions that must be read and checked before
the reservation can be processed.
MINIMUM STAY: We have a two day minimum stay
requirement during holiday periods (Memorial Day weekend, July 4th, and
Labor Day).
